The ovals are an old favorite, since they are such incredibly versatile shapes. The extra large oval measures 17.5 x 8.25 x 1 inch and makes a great serving platter or centerpiece.
Choose your favorite images to create a collection of ovals reminiscent of your own personal narrative. Each image is hand drawn directly into the porcelain clay with a knife, and the etching is inlaid with a dark underglaze. The high temperature of the kiln combined with a clear glaze overlay slightly blurs the drawing, much like a faded memory. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind work of art reminiscent of the places and experiences that define and connect us all.
